TransWorld is a China-based import-export company, also engaging in import-export management, with management personnel from both the USA and China. We are also the holding company for a wood factory in Guangxi province. Currently, we export wood and bamboo products to the USA, and products used in sectors of the wood and paper industry such as iron oxide and PET strapping. The USA manager is Peter Wirsching who has a doctorate (Ph.D.) in Chemistry and more than 20 years experience in the chemical business. He was previously a professor at The Scripps Research Institute, one of the leading biomedical and chemical research institutes in the world. He was also a consultant for many years to the US Government, and such companies as Proctor & Gamble and Johnson & Johnson. Dr. Wirsching spends much of his time in China investigating new products. The China manager is Michael Chen who is a native born and university educated Chinese. He has an extensive business background of more than 12 years in hotel management and import-export transactions. He is also an expert linguist speaking several Chinese dialects and English.
Given our headquarter’s location in southern China, we are poised at the center of all international trade. Our expertise is the ability to locate resources and products all over China and the USA and to connect these large markets with each other and the international community. We especially pride ourselves upon helping small businesses in any country establish trade with China and the USA. A major interest is to develop long-term relationships with business partners in developing countries as we feel we can provide quality goods at highly competitive prices. Our contacts and product repertoire is extensive and growing. Our aim is to always learn and understand our products and our manufacturers.
